The Company:
A leading global response-driven marketing agency with 120+ offices in over 50 countries and a network of 15+ specialized companies. Clients include leading global technology, financial services, consumer package goods, healthcare and mobile brands.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with both back and front end developers.
- Code, Debug and troubleshoot AS2 and AS3 applications and rich media units
- Work closely with project managers to define features and future enhancements.
- Design and develop light weight, scalable, Actionscript UI component library.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Object Orientated development and design patterns.
- A strong Actionscript 2 and 3 background, writing classes and collaborating on medium to large scale coding projects.
- A proactive, quality orientated approach to development.
- Experience in working in medium to large sized teams in a well-structured and disciplined manner, e.g. test-driven development, version-control and deployment knowledge is helpful.
- Experience integrating video into online media.
- Ability to build Flash landing pages, flash Intro’s, flash video players and HTML integration with deep linking.
- A general understanding of Rich Media specs, best practices and definitions. Experience with Rich Media vendor templates, practices & API’s a huge plus.
- Localization experience is a big plus.
- Deep understanding parsing and consuming XML, JSON.
- Experience in integrating social media API’s such as Facebook, You Tube, Flickr, Twitter, Maps - Google, Yahoo in flash.
- Ability to estimate the project scope and time.
- Familiarity with web standards, accessibility standards, and SEO.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes.
- Must be available to work on site.
- Agency experience and working under tight deadline is a must.
